LINKdotNET& Citibank Egypt deliver best-in-class payment service for LINKDSL subscribers
|
|
LINKdotNET and Citibank Egypt, a member of Citigroup, signed an agreement introducing new technology to support the payment of LINKDSL subscription. The new cash bill payment machine service is available 24/7.
The service is available free of charge to all LINKDSL customers, who are not necessarily CitiBank customers, for cash payments. It provides customers with flexibility, offering a choice of 14 payment locations in Cairo and Alexandria including locations in shopping malls and Citibank branches.
LINKDSL subscribers are currently the only DSL users in Egypt who benefit from this payment option which offers unparalleled convenience. Currently, this means that a very large segment of DSL subscribers will be able to benefit from this service, as LINKDSL currently possesses the largest DSL market share.
Since added convenience was the goal of this new payment process, it was designed with customer ease of use in mind. The touch screen system allows for payments to be made within seconds. The screens are programmed in Arabic and English and an onsite personal assistant is available to offer first time users help. The customer only needs to provide his or her telephone number and the amount of cash being deposited. The payment is reflected the next day following the actual transaction, and no charges will be deducted from the payment.
"LINKdotNET is the first to introduce this convenient payment service for customers. We pride ourselves on running a truly high tech operation, and, as such, are always seeking ways to use technology to automate and facilitate services offered to our clients." emphasized Khaled Bichara, President and CEO of LINKdotNET. |
